1. Fast fashion / In practical apparel

Let’s get one thing straight, I love fashion. It’s hard to control my desire to buy clothes whenever I find something cool. But as time passed I started to pay more attention to the quality of the clothes, since buying cheap clothes was becoming a total waste of money. They often broke down faster, lost their color after washing them and overall becoming useless over time.

As I matured I started to prefer spending a little extra for better quality, avoiding stuck in buying practical apparel such as trendy clothes. These are purchases are often made on a whim and end up getting lost in my closet over time. This sensation of realizing the amount of money, I waste each season always feels me with regret and realization that I could’ve used that money for something better.

2. Things on sale

When you go to the store and see a sale, something that you weren’t thinking of purchasing now becomes attractive, right? I know this sensation very well, were I often begin to think “Oh that’s cheap! They’ll never offer this sale again; I must purchase it now”. However, being more aware of this sales trap I am able to avoid making these unnecessary purchases at least 90% of time.
